Erie canal

Friday Sept 27

We started today late.  There's a lot of fog outside.  We went for a walk, looking for coffee and never got near finding coffee and then came back and as Fogg lifted, we left and departed the room in cloud a few boats pass us and medicine next lock a few more locks and hit a piece of wood before lock 16 and got 16 just before six and decided to tie up to the public dock Went out for dinner with Steve endeavor at Cosmos a small bar in the next town Mandy the bartender drove us there and back.

Saturday Locks 17-8

On Saturday morning, we set off around 8:30, ready to conquer the day.  We navigated through lock 16, covered a distance of 38 miles, and successfully refuelled at Sceneddy Yacht Club at 467.  With only 42 litres of fuel, we sailed through the dark to lock seven and tied up at the free dock, feeling a sense of accomplishment at the day's successful journey.

Most an eventful day

Sunday Sept 29

We went through lock 7, entered the Hudson on to TROY

Oswego canal

On Sunday, September 22, we arrived at Oswego Marina after discovering that Oswego Yacht Club was no longer a functioning boat club, so we decided to stay there.

Monday, we were fourth in line for mast work. We got the mast down and tied it. and headed for the first Oswego lock

We spent the night on a public dock.

On Monday, we got into the first lock of the Oswego Canal system.

Thursday, Sept 25

Today, we had breakfast at McDonald's, and we charged and updated all our devices.  The laptop battery is weak, and the charger works better on AC than on DC. Left at 11:45 for our second attempt at crossing Lake Juanita, much more civilized than yesterday's feeble attempt to cross Lake Oneida.

All Clear - No skin issues

Today I got checked for Melanoma and was cleared of any skin cancer.
