On Wednesday morning, I had a Zoom call with friends from Toronto about the class action lawsuit against my landlord. The Zoom meeting went well at 10 o'clock.
Then I weighed anchor and sailed to Saint Mary's by myself. The first time I sailed by myself for a little while There's a turkey Thanksgiving dinner for boaters and an event that has been happening at Saint Mary's for since 2001 and it has become a tradition in many other towns, but Saint Mary's is the prime most popular one for boaters so the Saint Mary's anchorage was full, but when I got there, there was a "hole" quite close to the town dock where I could anchor with 16 to 20 feet of depth and lots of space for me,
I went into town, walked around a bit, and then attended a seminar on anchoring. Wally presented a presentation on the Palmas, and we met at the Riverside.
I hosted a potluck dinner for a $10 donation, and beer was available for $1.75 on Thursday. I came back the next day, which was Thanksgiving. I think into town at no I tidy up the boat, clean the floor and other parts of the inside the ship they went to city found the shower for the marina and had a shower and hadthe Saint Mary's Thanksgiving dinner at 12:30 stuffed myself quite a bit and went out for 6 km walk around Saint Mary's to return to the boat and did not have supper and went to bed. I took Apple up on their offer of a month of free Apple TV. Friday, it starts getting cold. I visited the submarine museum and went to Riverwalk for breakfast. Still, the service was slow, and the information about the breakfast schedule was incorrect, so we ended up having lunch.
Rick drove us to Walmart, which did not have Soda Stream refills, so I did more groceries. Saint Mary's got back to the boat as the rain started. Supper was salmon and rice,
and Brussels sprouts
